At UNSW undergraduate students study law as part of a Combined Law degree. A Combined Law degree allows students to study both law and non-law courses, so they gain 2 degrees: a law degree and another degree such as a commerce degree, or an arts degree, or a science degree. For example students studying an Arts/Law degree graduate with a BA/LLB qualification; or Commerce/Law graduates gain a BCom/LLB; or International Studies/Law graduates gain a BIntSt/LLB.
Students entering Law straight from High School may only enrol in a Combined Law program. Current university students who have completed one full year of tertiary study and wish to transfer to study law may only enrol in a Combined Law program.
