 Expressions of Interest for the Student Editorial Panel of the Australian Indigenous Law Review     

The Australian Indigenous Law Review, one of the foremost peer reviewed journals addressing Indigenous legal issues in the country, is seeking expressions of interest from students wishing to be members of its Student Editorial Panel. Membership on the Panel may entail occasional editorial work, the writing of brief headnotes for recent cases, and research. Indigenous students are strongly encouraged to apply.

 LAWS2079 Restitution - Assessment Components in S2 2008     
The assessment components for LAWS2079 Restitution in S2 2008 will be changed to the followings: 20% (maximisable) Class Participation, 30% Mid-Semester Exam and 50% or 70% (depending on class participation) Final Exam OR 5,000 word Essay.

     
 Reserved Places for Graduate Law Full-Time (4790) and Part-Time (4791) students.     
There are number of places have been reserved in the Undergraduate Core Courses for Graduate Law full-time (4790) and part-time (4791) students in S2, 2008. Please refer to the Undergraduate Timetable for more details http://www.law.unsw.edu.au/Current_Students/timetable/undergrad/2008/UG_S2.pdf. Unfilled reserved places will be opened for Combined Law students to enrol on Monday 2 June 2008 10am for enrolment.

     
 Enrolment in Undergraduate Electives in S2, 2008     
Since places in electives are limited, undergraduate elective courses will be opened for online enrolments ONLY at 10am Tuesday 20 May 2008. This is to ensure that all final year students have an equal chance to enrol electives. Requests to enrol in electives prior to this day will not be processed.

Also, approximately 2-3 places are reserved in each elective for incoming exchange students until Week 1 of Semester 2 2008.

     
 International Law Moot - 2008 Applications Now Open     
An information session will be held on Thursday 22 May from 1-2pm in G23. Its purpose is to inform prospective mooters about the competitions in which UNSW is involved, and to explain the application process. Former mooters from our Jessup International Law Moot team, our Vis Commercial Arbitration team, our Lachs Space Law team, and our Pictet Humanitarian Law team will speak about their experiences and answer questions.

Please note that the International Law Competitive Moot program counts as an UG elective.
